Wednesday
It was Platoon Cohesion Night - me and my platoon-mates met up for dinner at Marche at Heeren. I haven't stepped into Orchard for some time, yet nothing has changed over there - the shops, the amount of traffic and crowd, and the pretty girls.
Anyway Marche wasn't too bad and it was nice meeting up with those who had already ORDed earlier.
After that we went for some pool action before heading to Zouk. Its been quite a while since I last club, way back around October last year, yet nothing has changed, well, except for the music updates. It was fully packed as usual, limiting you to just dancing on the spot. I'm thinking why can't the owner lower the crowd limit so that way everybody can dance with space and have more fun? I guess making more money matters more since they are running a business afterall. But I wouldn't mind paying more to dance with more space.
Somehow I didn't have much fun. It's not due to the environment, but due to myself. I can remember previously me and my friends are able to dance all the way until the club 'close shop' and still feel energetic after that (well, to an extent.) Last time the lure of good music, drinks and hot babes was irresistible. Now it's not really that attractive anymore. Maybe, like a certain Mr Larry I have grown out of that phrase.
I didn't want to go actually, but since it's Cohesion Night and it's probably the last time I'll club with the platoon, I joined them. Even those who have never club before were going so I couldn't make much excuses not to go.
I left earlier, shagged out and feeling down. Throughout the night my mind was preoccupied with her - maybe it was a wrong move to go in the first place.
