Been downloading a couple of movies to kill time at home. Some recent, some old ones.
Transporter 2: Pretty much standard action fare. Some nice sequences but on the whole unremarkable.
Into the Blue: Boring. Ended up pushing the fast forward button (pausing only to check out rear shots of Jessica Alba.)
40 Year-old Virgin: It's quite funny and all but somehow I just didn't enjoy it that much. (Well, I guess it's due to my current state.)
Predator: Heh classic stuff. You got Arnold, a whole bunch of one liners and the predator itself - what more can you ask for?
Sin City: Cool film noir that feels like the comic come alive. The Yellow Bastard part is a bit boring but hey, that would be me nitpicking.
Raging Bull: My favourite Scorsese/De Niro combination. Been eager to catch this after hearing all the praises from people. Sure it's good but personally I don't think it's excellent. Taxi Driver is still better in my opinion.
Angel Heart: One great atmospheric movie. Don't wanna give away any spoilers so you all should go watch it yourselves. Robert De Niro's in it, and also Mickey Rourke - he is one damn fine actor. Was damn good looking also. Quite a shame what happened for him during the 90s but I'm glad he's on the comeback.
Nothing much happening for me. Haven't receive any call from Oregon yet so I should start looking for another part time job. In the meanwhile I'll have to continue on my scripts.
