After what Anna had shared with me about all her stuff, all I can say is that people have different opinions and definitions regarding to everything. That is why some people will never click and understand some people.
It reminds me of a quote which I heard some film: "Opinions are like assholes - Everyone's got one."
Since everyone is talking about the issue of friendship - 'friend' is a term I use carefully. To label that to anyone would lessen the meaning of the word right? So I would admit that I select my friends while the rest are all acquaintances. Quality over quantity.
