2014 world cup kits revealed

It seems that the kits of the countries participating in June's World Cup(!) have all been revealed here. I'm just gonna cover the major kit manufacturers here.



Looking through all the kits I was pretty disappointed by the Adidas ones - to me the designs seemed kinda outdated (similar to those ones that are usually on sale at Sportslink/Royal Sporting House) if you compared to the other kit manufacturers.

Nike's designs are nice as usual, but they seemed to have stagnated on the design. A few years ago their minimalistic old-school design looked great but now it seems they are using the same for all teams and just using a colour palette.

I'm most impressed with Puma's - although they got some horrible ones (see Cameroon and Algeria), they got my favourites in Switzerland and Chile (below). I think that Puma did have the effort to try to provide a identity in each of the designs (although they made them super tight-fit, not wearable for normal potbellied humans).

My award for worst kit goes to...

I love cheetahs but it looks like the kit is full of oil stains like when I was tearing apart freshly fried chicken wings.
