"good grief!"

My Physical Science professor spoke to the class during the previous lesson about the current financial crisis, telling us to feel happy instead of being worried as we are in the midst of a major global event that will happen only sporadically in the history of humankind. While most of the people in class gave looks of disbelief, I totally agreed with what she said.

I'm not sure whether I've talked about this topic before (well, it's been a long while since I've written anything personally) but basically my stand every single experience and the feelings and emotions that come along with it are absolutely valuable - be it pleasure or pain, happiness or sorrow, it is important to experience every possible facet of the human life during our time here.

Perhaps the most amazing one of all is the feeling of regret. Prepackaged with the sense of hindsight, it is deeply stored inside each and everyone of us, waiting to be evoked whenever we thought of our past. Always followed by a deep sigh, it serves forever as a reminder for one to improve oneself as a human being, never to thread on a similiar path of mistake again. On the other hand, it has the danger of one spiraling into embarrassment, sorrow and guilt.

Just like how it feels like when I saw some recent photographs of her. Oh damn.
