it is a big shame that the execution of Saddam Hussein was broadcast to the public, especially on the eve of the Eid ul-Adha.
Though the truth is that he murdered thousands of his own people but this sort of thing happens in Africa all the time and we do nothing to help them, so this self righteous bollocks that Bush and Blair preach is just propaganda for the real reason they invaded them, either oil or for Bush to finish what the British and Americans failed to do in 1991. I don’t think anyone should feel sorry for Saddam Hussein, he lived a very privileged existence and was corrupt and I suspect deserved what was coming to him but this will do nothing to ease tension in the Middle East and only exasperate it.
