Helped out a friend to work for a three day assignment at Tampines Mall Isetan for the weekend - there's not much customers which left you practically just standing at your post, bidding for time to pass by. Not to mention the store plays songs of Westlife, A1, N'Sync and Backstreet Boys on repeat mode throughout the day. But somehow I tend to bump into people I haven't seen in quite a while over there - yesterday was Vincent's girlfriend Jiazi which I last saw a couple of months back and today was Shahirah my lower secondary classmate which I last saw a couple of years back. Glad to see them all doing fine.
It's slighty amusing when a colleague thought I was from China (technically half correct, if you consider Taiwan to be part of Mainland China), one thought I was Malay and another thought I was Eurasian at the same time. But then again I been asked by many people about my race ever since way back so I got used to it. Race is just race. Most important is the character of the person don't you think?
But then again I'm a very flawed person who tends to lose myself in seas of emotions.
