"to make something out of nothing, you need something outside of nothing and..."

First lesson on 'Philosophy of Religion' today, and I enjoyed it. Apart from the professor being very humorous (and also very knowledgable), I think it has got to do with the fact that I was able to get in touch with my 'art' side. The IS modules were too practical and technical for my liking, which was precisely why I bidded for POR - to 'balance up' myself heh.

Another good thing is that the class is small (not surprising - it's an unpopular module) of around 15 students, making it a more intimate experience for learning. Interestingly I was the only first year student in the class. It's kinda tough for a 'general education module', but I took it more for the interest than the grades.

Was gonna bid for 'Basic Melayu' but there is a clash of time table. Maybe I'll take it next term. Always nice to learn a third language...

Back to my readings on Thomas Aquinas and the existence of 'God'.
