for he's a jolly good fellow

Went over to Larry's place to celebrate his birthday on Thursday (which was actually kinda late - his birthday is actually on New Year's day). Larry's been with me from the start of national service, from Tekong to Sembawang to my current hellhole CNB. Anyway it was held at his condo's function room - we had catered food and pizza. At the end we threw Larry into the pool (together with Sun Jinyang), and got scolded by the security guards.

Afterwards we went to Larry's condo and boy was I amazed - the old colonial-themed furnishing and particularly the big aquarium which is like a mini coral reef (his father's pride and joy). His father, a commercial diver, then gave us a lesson on marine life and diving. Too bad I had to go as I had to work the following day.

On a last note just wanna say that Larry has been a very good friend in my army life. All the best in your future undertakings Larry!
